Sea Moss

Edible Algae Ocean Superfood

Sea Moss is a sea vegetable. Sea vegetables have one of the broadest ranges of minerals of any food, containing virtually all the minerals found in the ocean—and many of the same minerals found in human blood. Our sea moss (eucheuma cottonii) is Caribbean grown and sourced, where this natural supplement has been used for generations. It is from the red algae genus, making it among the best algae to eat and drink.

Studies show that mineral deficiencies are at the root of many health problems. The human body needs macro minerals (including calcium, magnesium, phosphorus and potassium) and micro minerals (including iron, zinc, iodine, manganese and selenium . Plus vitamins A, B, C, D, E, F & K) to stay healthy, strong and energized.

Rich in antioxidants, soluble dietary fibers, proteins, minerals, vitamins, and polyunsaturated fatty acids, this red algae has been shown to have therapeutic properties for skin, bones and joints; circulatory and immune health; respiratory, digestive and excretory health.

Sea Moss is al dente in texture and has no taste to speak of. It won’t alter the taste of any other food or ingredient it is combined with. Just add. It works in salads, soups, sautees, with meats and drinks. This is one gift from the ocean that has no wrong way to consume.

Sea Moss grows in the waters of the Atlantic ocean, taking in all good nutrients. It is then harvested and sun-dried. That’s it. Sea Moss is naturally preserved in its own sea salt. It can last for years if stored properly in a cool dry place. It also lasts for months in the fridge with no mold or bacteria build-up, because of its low moisture characteristic.

Sea Moss’s properties makes it a very filling food. You only need 1 teaspoon of sea moss to do what it does.

Whether you are a meat eater, vegan, vegetarian, or other specialty dieter, sea moss can be added to your diet. It is very low in calories. Good for children, adults and seniors.

Sea Moss is a whole food that contains virtually all the minerals found in the ocean – and many of the same minerals found in our blood. It is an all-round tonic, and goes well with other healthy foods.
